Israel's Declaration of Independence~14 May 1948

On the 14th day of May, 1948, David Ben Gurion read the Declaration of Independence for the state of Israel from Tel Aviv. As we all know, the very next day, the 1948 war started as the armies of the neighboring Arab countries joined together to attack (and try to stop) the founding of a Jewish State.

When the war ended, Jordan occupied the "West Bank" and Egypt occupied the "Gaza Strip". It is important to not that both Jordan and Egypt refused to allow the founding of a Palestinian State, while to this day, the "Palestinian Refugees" in these countries remain in "camps" as their "Arab Brothers" refuse to allow them basic rights such as citizenship papers or passports. They remain pawns of the Arab world in their goal to wipe Israel from the earth...
