This is What You Get When Terrorists Are Released!

Wafa al-Biss
At the end of this rather long post is an open letter written by a Gaza doctor and published in the Jerusalem Post on 24 June 2005. Do take the time to read it.

The video interview is with Wafa Samir Ibrahim al-Biss. She was one of the 1,027 prisoners released for the return of a single soldier~Gilad Shalit. These pictures of Wafa, (who is already back in University, studying to be a journalist) and Gilad Shalit (who is still recovering from his ordeal) were taken on their "release". Do note that Wafa  appears to have survived quite well in Israel, while Gilad Shalit came home looking like a Holocaust survivor. The pictures you usually see of Wafa are from the day she failed to detonate herself, and she was indeed pathetic and crying. There was no brave face then, but now that she is fat and free, and being paid a salary in addition to the $2,000 each terrorist received from Hamas, she is very bold indeed. The PA is also heavily rewarding their terrorists and of course the re-naming of schools and streets will soon start. *Note: PA terrorists in Israeli jails are paid a monthly salary that is incrementally higher based on the number of Jews killed and the amount of time they are in jail. Their families are also looked after with stipends, housing, medical, etc.. This is possible thanks to the endless aid flowing from the UN,  EU and USA.

Gilad Shalit
On the day after her release, Wafa told cheering schoolchildren in the Gaza Strip that she hoped they would follow her example...

“I hope you will walk the same path we took
and God willing,  we will see some of you as martyrs”

History: Wafa was admitted to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheva between December 2004 and January 2005 for treatment of massive burns. Some reports indicate she received them as a result of a gas-tank explosion while others indicate she was burned by her family for having an illicit affair, but there is no proof of this.

When she was released as an outpatient, she was given personal medical authorization documents, allowing her to cross through into Israel to receive medical treatment. She was arrested on 21 June 2005 with ten kilograms of explosives in her underwear~her intent was to kill as many Jews as possible~including children...

Chilling Interview~This is the Palestinian Mindset !

An Open Letter by a Gaza doctor, published in The Jerusalem Post on 24 June 2005
As a Palestinian doctor who has worked at Soroka hospital in Beersheva for eight years, I was outraged at the cynical and potentially deadly suicide bombing attempt by Wafa Samir Ibrahim al-Biss. On Monday she was caught at the Erez crossing from the Gaza strip wearing explosives stitched to her underwear and admitted that her goal was to kill dozens of people at the hospital including as many children as possible.

I conduct research at the hospital’s Genetic Institute, and Soroka has become my home away from home. I have built warm professional relations with my colleagues in the obstetrics and gynaecology department and other units. I make a point, whenever I’m at the hospital, of visiting Palestinian patients. I also schedule appointments for other Gaza residents, and even bring medication from Soroka to needy patients in the Strip.

I have nothing but praise for the doctors, nurses and other medical staff at Soroka hospital. They show compassion, sympathy and kindness. I was therefore extremely shocked and upset to hear that Wafa Biss, from the Jabalya refugee camp, was wired with explosives to blow herself up at Soroka, a place where she had been treated with kindness and mercy.

On the very day she planned to detonate her bomb, two Palestinians in critical condition were waiting in Gaza to be taken for urgent medical treatment to Soroka. Wafa was sent to kill the very people in Israel who are healing Palestinians from the Gaza strip and West Bank. What if Israeli hospitals now decide to bar Palestinians seeking treatment? How would those who sent Biss feel if their own relatives, in need of medical care in Israel, are refused treatment?
Wafa Attempting to Detonate~Crossing

As for Biss herself, she should have been a messenger for peace among her people, and should have been bringing flowers and appreciation to the Soroka doctors for healing her burns. Instead, she targeted the very people who treated her with such compassion. Israeli hospitals extend humanitarian treatment to Palestinians from the Gaza Strip and West Bank. These efforts continued when all other cooperation between Palestinians and Israelis came to a halt during the most recent intifada.

To plan an operation of this kind against a hospital is an act of evil. Children, women, patients, doctors and nurses were the target. Is this a reward for kindness? Is this an advertisement for Islam, a religion which respects and sanctifies human life? This is aggression and a violation of humanity.

What are we going to say if Israel now clamps down on Palestinian patients seeking medical treatment inside Israel? All of us know that we are suffering from collective punishments imposed by the Israelis. We now risk imposing additional suffering on Palestinians in need of medical care.

Soroka is a hospital that has opened its doors to treat Palestinians without discrimination, offering the best care available. I want to tell my friends and colleagues at Soroka that all the Gaza residents I have spoken to have expressed their condemnation for this evil and brainless act. At a time when we badly need to build bridges of trust and tolerance, Soroka is the only door left open when other hospitals are closed to Gaza residents.

We should all denounce any attempts to attack hospitals and harm their patients. The Biss family members have, themselves, issued a statement condemning the use of their daughter. I hope that despite this incident Soroka hospital will continue to be an oasis of peace and coexistence. That is the correct message to defeat the enemies of peace.

A Video From Gaza's Border~Bring Gilad Shalit Home!

On the 28th of August 2011, David and Daniel traveled to Kerem Shalom on the Gaza Border to film an event held to mark Gilad Shalit's 25th birthday.

It has been 1,890 days (more than five years) since he has received even the tiniest communication or sign from his family~and it has been more than two years since his family has received any sign of life from Gilad.

Just ten days ago, the supporters of Gilad Shalit staged a peaceful Hi-jacking of a bus of Gazans returning from a visit to Hamas terrorists prisoners in an Israel jail.

Trucks of Goods Crossing into Gaza
Standing at the border crossing one sees the trucks arriving from within Israel to provide the citizens of Gaza with food and basic commodities, children's games and electrical goods and more. On this day there were truck loads of cement as well.

Gilad Shalit does not enjoy even the basic conditions demanded for any captive, in accordance with the Geneva Convention. He receives no visits, letters and no contact whatsoever with the outside world.

Hamas Prisoners in Israeli Jail

Gilad Shalit is held captive in inhuman conditions, while his family lives without any knowledge of his physical or emotional state. In stark contrast the State of Israel allows Palestinian/Hamas prisoners to receive visitors, letters, study for degrees and many other benefits. The picture to the left was posted from an Israeli jail by Hamas terror prisoners~to  their Facebook Page!. Need I say more?

The purpose of this protest is to ask for reciprocation between the cruel treatment of Gilad Shalit and the privileges that are enjoyed by Palestinian / Hamas terrorists prisoners in Israeli jails.

*It Should Be Noted:
Gilad Shalit was kidnapped by terrorists who infiltrated into Israel, killed two soldiers and wounded four others. Gilad was Not a criminal, whereas the prisoners held in Israeli jails have been convicted of terror attacks and murder of Israeli citizens.

Statement to the Citizens of Gaza:  (Hebrew and English follow video)
As citizens of Israel we strive to live in peace with you. Even at this time when the region is far from quiet, we are hopeful that, one day, peace will arrive and we will be able to live side by side with you, as good neighbors, in mutual respect that will lead to mutual prosperity in our region.

We call on you, the residents of Gaza, to do the right, and human thing, and to work to correct this terrible injustice and to help return Gilad Shalit to his parents.

Bring Galid Shalit Home !

Think About it...

Today, 28 August 2011, is Gilad Shalit's birthday. On 25 June 2006 he was kidnapped (on Israeli land) by Hammas terrorists. His parents have not had "proof of life" since October 2009, but there has been countless threats and humiliations, including videos and news reports, cartoons, plays and graffiti depicting a suffering Gilad and his family.

Hamas Pychological Cruelty to Shalit Family

Busload of Hamas Families "Hi-Jacked"~By Israelis...

From Video Released 2009
What? Why is the media not reporting this? Earlier  this month, Friends and Supporters of kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit staged a "hi-jacking" of a busload of Gazans returning from visiting Hamas prisoners. The video is on Youtube (see below).

The reason? They are protesting the kidnapping of  Gilad Shalit on 25 June 2006, by Hamas terrorists, on a raid inside Israel. During the attack two soldiers were killed and three others wounded.  Since that day, Gilad has been held without contact, most likely in an underground bunker~not even seeing the light of day! To date, the only communications between Shalit and the outside world has been three letters, an audio tape, and on 02 October 2009, a DVD that Israel received in return for releasing 20 female Palestinian prisoners. Since then there has been "no sign of life".

The event was six weeks in planning and was executed peacefully and perfectly. After a couple of hours the police arrived and the bus continued on its way~there were no arrests.  Although the protesters only spoke to them the Hamas passengers they were "very afraid"~because they knew full well that if the situation had been reversed and Hamas had kidnapped an Israeli bus there would not be one Israeli left alive...
Facebook Pic Posted by Hamas from Israeli Jail
Meanwhile, Hamas murderers in Israeli prisons lay around getting fat watching Colour TV, holding interviews, posting pictures of their easy life on facebook via cell-phones, even earning Masters Degrees, and much more~including Regular Visits With Their Families! Hamas will not even allow the Red Cross to send a package to Gilad or confirm he is alive. Yet the world wants Israel to free thousands of terrorist murders??

To all the people in countries whose combined donations send billions of dollars to the "PA" you should know that from your money, murderers and terrorists in Israeli jails receive hefty stipends every month, as do their families~in fact, the more Israelis killed~the higher the stipend they receive~from the money you send!  Why do you keep sending them money?

Graffiti Mocking Shalit (from 2006 to 2040)
When the Free Gaza people came to town, Gilad's father asked them to accept a single letter with the request that it be given to his son. A request they categorically refused~scum that they are!

These people and their ilk rushed to embrace the mother of the boy who decapitated a three month old baby, but to take a single letter to an Israeli, held in sub-human conditions, for year, is considered--what?--too political???

Hamas and the PA continue to humiliate the Shalit family by releasing numerous videos mocking the kidnapped soldier, and his parents, as well as numerous walls of graffiti depicting the young man growing old in his prison--and the world remains silent. Isn't it time we stood up and said "enough"? Why does the west continue to fund the PA when they refuse to follow even the basic laws of prisoner treatment and human rights? Think about it--the next time it could be someone close to you who is targeted...

Remember the Fallen~Pray the Missing Return

The Attack on 25 June, 2006
During this week of Pesach we all want to be with family. Sadly, too many families will have empty chairs at their seder table.

Please take a moment to remember, and say a prayer for all who who were taken from this world too soon, and for the speedy, safe return of the missing to their waiting families.

Pray that we will see peace in our time, and that our young people will be spared the need to stand on the front lines defending us.

Pray that parents, siblings and friends will no longer have to mourn the loss of those who were not given a chance to grow old, who did not even begin to live.

At 5:40 am, on the morning of 25 June 2006, terrorists from the Hamas and Popular Resistance Committees terror organizations infiltrated Israel through a tunnel originating from the Rafah area, passing under the security fence to the area between the Kerem Shalom and Sufa crossings.
Lt. Hanan Barak
Staff-Sgt. Pavel Slutzke
The terrorists, operating under cover of mortar and anti-tank fire from within the Gaza Strip, attacked an armored personnel carrier, an IDF tank and a watchtower. IDF forces returned fire, killing at least two terrorists. Even so, the attack resulted in the murder of two Israeli soldiers,  Lt. Hanan Barak, age 20, from Arad, who had planned  be a career officer after his three years of service ended, and Staff-Sgt. Pavel Slutzker, age 20, from Dimona, who had been awarded a full scholarship from Bar Ilan University, where he planned to study medicine. Four other soldiers were wounded, one severely, two moderately and one lightly

Greatly loved and missed by their friends and families, we must never forget that these two young men gave their lives in the service of our country. We must never forget the suffering of their families, and the emptiness they must deal with each day, and more so during the holidays. Their grief is unimaginable.

This same attack resulted in the kidnap of one soldier, Cpl. Gilad Shalit, and to this day his whereabouts and condition remain unknown--not even the Red Cross has been allowed to see him or confirm his status. When I see the posters, or pass the tent of the Shalit family in Jerusalem, I always remember there were two other young men on that dreadful morning--and they will never return.

The entire country has hoped, prayed, petitioned, and waited, for the safe return of Gilad Shalit. Organizations, clubs and individuals have held every kind of  event to raise awareness. Endless efforts have been made, and will continue to be made to "bring Gilad back." Most importantly, people work tirelessly to insure that the world is not allowed to forget that a son of Israel is out there, waiting to come home.

To that end, on 19 March 2011, about 230 AMHSI students from all over the United States, as well as Israeli high school students from the Mosenson School, held a Flash Mob Dance to raise awareness of Gilad Shalit's plight and to remind the world that we want his safe return--now! This was filmed at the Port in Tel Aviv (that's in Israel)--and no matter what the PA spin doctors try to tell you, Tel Aviv is and always will be Israeli!

The song "One Day" is by AMHSI alumnus, Matisyahu, and was remixed by Israeli trance band Infected MushroomStudents have the opportunity of a premier Israel academic experience at Alexander Muss High School in Israel. AMHSI is dedicated to engaging teens to discover and embrace their connection to Israel's history, culture and land through education, experiences, and understanding.
