I am appealing to the tens-of-thousands of people who have crossed the doorstep of the Machlis Family over the years. I ask you to please read this message and share it with all of your friends and mail lists.
Most important, I ask, that as you read this, picture in your mind the smiling, loving face of Rebbetzin Henny welcoming each and every one of you to her home. I ask that you Please make the time to personally say Tefilla for her complete recovery.
This is the message I received today...
Rebbetzin Henny Machlis continues to need your good and beautiful "Tefilla" and "Emunah" for her complete "Refuah Schlema"
...She is so appreciative and thankful
...it makes her smile and gives her strength and courage

...She had an operation for breast cancer a while ago which was B'H' successful
...Then they found a tumor on her brain
...It was removed at Sloan-Kettering in New York City last month

...She has just returned again to Sloan-Kettering in New York

...We pray that when she returns she will be cancer-free
Henny has gone through so much suffering and pain in the past year and I feel that we can honor her amazing kindness and charitable life with our "Tefilla".

Any news about financial help?
The Machlis Family always needs financial help. They still have 8 children living at home, each Shabbat they have guests for all 3 meals (usually 100 or more each meal), and now they also have the extra expense of having Henny's cancer treatments in the US.
