Danger~The EU Will Destroy Europe!

For some time I have watched the antics of the EU (European Union). Here is a group of grossly over paid, people--who were Never elected. They meddle in the finances, laws, and now the electoral system of "free democratic countries". 

If you watch clips from the EU "assemblies" you will notice several things~apart from the posh (costly) looking premises. Most of the seats are empty~most of the time. Regardless of protests or warnings (even from members) these people seem to do whatever suits their fancy. 

If you want evidence of this just google Nigel Farage, and watch his videos from his seat in the EU. For years Mr. Farage has stood up and tried to call these dictators in waiting to task--nobody is listening! More frightening, this bunch has become a black hole that  is rapidly sucking money, freedom and rights, from the good people across Europe. 

Like the vile UN, that spends all of its time bashing Israel, most of its funding to support PA terrorists and remains silent as people in Darfur starve and women in the middle east are treated like cattle~the EU needs to be stopped, reined in, and either disbanded or be subjected to strict boundaries. In fact, I would say sanity and self-preservation dictates that funding to both of these overblown behemoths be stopped immediately and the high-priced egos within  be set loose to get "real jobs" where they actually have to earn their keep. This would probably be enough to put a huge dent in the world debt crises.

A Movie About Israel...

This is a film that gives a true view of  the amazing things that have come out of my country, Israel. Yes, we have wars and conflict and a lot of people that are the opposite of perfect~and I suppose I should add, some of the worst drivers in the world. Despite our flaws, and failings, we are still here,  and will remain here, together~as a nation.

We defend our right to live on our land~We challenge those who try to change history to wipe out our origins~And through all the stress and sorrow, we work hard to make the world a better place for everyone, including those who would wipe us off the map~because that is who we are.

I have not seen the full movie, but these scenes capture some very important realities. You can learn more on the website Israel Inside, and sign up for updates, as to where the film will be showing next. All the haters out there will inevitably start screaming when they see this trailer...

This is for all the dreamy-eyed peaceniks who think the protests in Tahrir square are romantic and exciting.

Take a close look at what is really taking place. If you still think all of the protests are for democracy, well, there must be a bridge somewhere that I can sell you. 

MEMRI TV does a wonderful job of translating the broadcasts from the Middle East. There is no longer the excuse that you "did not know". The reality is on film on a daily basis. There can be no co-existence with Islam~they are very open about this fact. This is the middle east and it will be coming soon to a town near you~unless you remove the rose coloured glasses. Jerusalem Flashmob in Mamilla Mall

For some time now videos and pictures of the Flashmob phenomenon have been appearing on the internet from  cities all over the world.  Israel is no exception!

On the 11th of November 2011. The Hora Dance Comany of Jerusalem staged their own Flashmob. They chose as their site the area in the New Mamilla Mall, right in front of the stairs leading from the Jaffa Gate in the Old City.

It was a beautiful sunny afternoon and the surrounding cafe's were full of people. Little did they know that the cafe's, the stairs and the area would soon be flooded with music and dance! 

Israeli choreographer, Adi Gordon Rawlings, gathered together nearly two hundred dancers aged ten to fifty to surprise locals and tourists during their afternoon shopping...This is Israel!

SSgt Reckless~A Real War Hero

OK, I have been in a real slump and writing has just been...hard. But it is all for good and I shall begin again. I missed many important days and items, but I have gained some new insights and ideas.

Because Shabbos comes in early I will leave you with this clip. Wait--a clip about a horse?? Absolutely! 

Listen carefully to the stories below and then look closely at the size of this little filly, named S.Sgt. Reckless.

Not only did she perform her duty, she went above and beyond. In one battle alone she trudged up and down a hill with artillery rounds falling all around her--making an astounding fifty-one trips--carrying ammunition up and wounded soldiers down. She was wounded twice and still kept going. Oh, and did I mention~she made the trips on her own! She not only inspired the marines she worked with, she earned her place among them.

How many of us could (or would) do the same! Many claim that animals have no soul, but I am of the opinion that have something "soul like", and like this brave little filly they boost morale and spirits and yes, even serve as an example. I like to think that Hashem has provided a beautiful green pasture where SSgt Reckless will never know the sounds of war...Shabbat Shalom.

Meet A Man With Integrity

A former Chief Medical Officer in the IDF, Dr. Aryeh Eldad is an MK in the Israeli Knesset for the National Union, Hatikva party. He served his country for twenty-five years and is now a Brigadier-General (reserves) in the Israel Defense Forces.

Dr. Eldad is head of the plastic surgery and burns unit at the Hadassah Medical Center hospital in Jerusalem.

Renowned worldwide for his treatment of burns,  Dr. Eldad won the Evans Award from the American Burns Treatment Association.

There is much to be said about Dr. Eldad, from a medical standpoint, but what resonates with me is his unfailing support for our country. In a time when politicians are corrupt, weak and think only of being re-elected, Dr. Eldad stands out from the crowd.  In this two-part interview, he addresses some very tough questions. The clip is not new, but his words have even more impact today. Yes, it is long clip, but well worth the time. Do listen to the end, and listen carefully...

Noah In Our Times~Would He Survive?

I love reading--be it books, blogs, news, posters--I simply love reading, especially when I find something that makes me smile. I found this little ditty on a site called Nobody Asked Me. As last week's Parsha was Noach, it made me wonder what the Creator really would do in these times...

In the year 2011, the Lord came unto Noah, who was now living in Oregon  (or any other western city!) and said: "Once again, the earth has become evil and I see the end of all flesh before me. Build another Ark and save two of every living thing along with a few good humans." He gave Noah the blueprints, saying: "You have six months to build the Ark before I will start the unending rain for forty days and forty nights."

Six months later, the Lord looked down and saw Noah weeping in his yard~but no Ark. "Noah!," He roared, "I'm about to start the rain! Where is the Ark?" 

"Forgive me, Lord," begged Noah, "but things have changed. I needed a Building Permit. I've been arguing with the Boat Inspector about the need for a sprinkler system."

"My neighbors claim that I've violated the Neighborhood By-Laws by building the Ark in my back garden and exceeding the height limitations. We had to go to the Local Planning Committee for a decision."

"Then the Local Council and the Electric Company demanded a boat load of money for the future costs of moving power lines and other overhead obstructions, to clear the passage for the Ark's move to the sea. I told them that the sea would be coming to us, but they would hear nothing of it."

"Getting the wood was another problem. There's a ban on cutting local trees in order to save the Greater Spotted Barn Owl (or whatever the tree-huggers are protecting).

I tried to convince the environmentalists that I needed the wood to save the owls~but no go!"

"When I started gathering the animals the ASPCA (SPCA, Animal Protection, etc) took me to court.

They insisted that I was confining wild animals against their will.

They argued the accommodations were too restrictive, and it was cruel and inhumane to put so many animals in a confined space."

"Then the Environmental Protection Agency ruled that I couldn't build the Ark until they'd conducted an environmental impact study on your proposed flood."

"I'm still trying to resolve a complaint with the Human Rights Commission on how many minorities I'm supposed to hire for my building crew."

"Immigration are checking the Visa status of most of the people who want to work."

 "The trades unions say I can't use my sons.

They insist I have to hire only Union workers with ark-building experience."  

"To make matters worse, the Internal Revenue Service seized all my assets, claiming I'm trying to leave the country illegally with endangered species."

"So, forgive me, Lord, but it would take at least ten years for me to finish this Ark."

"Suddenly the skies cleared, the sun began to shine, and a rainbow stretched across the sky."

Noah looked up in wonder and asked,

"You mean you're not going to destroy the world?"

"No," said the Lord. " The Government beat me to it."
