Disaster in Israel~May Gd Have Mercy...

Please pray for the dead, the injured and their families. We need a miracle to bring an end to this disaster, the largest and deadliest since Israel's founding in 1948. Please, Pray for Israel Today!

On Thursday, December 2nd a massive forest fire in Carmel killed 42 people. More than 15,000 people have been evacuated from towns and villages as the fires continue to blaze out of control.

Most of the dead are IPS cadets,  the majority of them young Druze in their 20's. They were in a bus returning after assisting in the evacuation of 500 prisoners (mainly arab) in Damon Prison. The fire reached a great speed--covering a mile in five minutes, according to a firefighter--catching the bus in the flames with no chance of escape. 

Police officers in a separate vehicle were also trapped by the flames. Two of them are missing, and the Commander of the Haifa Police, Lt-Col. Ahuva Tomer, is in serious condition after suffering burns all over her body. Doctors at Rambam Hospital in Haifa are fighting for her life.

Deputy Minister Ayoub Kara, a resident of Usfiyeh, spoke to a news Channel and said he has received information that the fire was a terror act. The fire  was  reported to have spread from three locations simultaneously--making arson likely. 

One observer said "It was amazing--within 30 minutes almost half the forest was in flames". Israeli firefighters said it was the biggest forest fire in the country’s history, with some 7,000 acres (2,800 hectares) of natural forest already destroyed.

So far this year numerous large fires, many set by arabs, have depleted Israel's reserves of fire-fighting chemicals, and the remaining supply will be exhausted by Friday morning.

Israeli planes are on the way to France for more supplies. In addition, Seven foreign aircraft are making their way to Israel: four from Greece, two from Azerbaijan and one from Cyprus. In addition, Four aircraft are expected from France, two or three from Russia, and two from Spain.

Israel's Prime Minister Binyamin  (Bibi) Netanyahu said: "I shall declare a national day of mourning but right now we haven't got the time to mourn and get into inquiries". 

Prime Minister Netanyahu flew over the scene in a helicopter and in a briefing, told reporters "People have showed tremendous strength of spirit, divine heroism, and sacrificed themselves to save others. I want to say to the families that are discovering their own personal disasters, we support you and love you. To our Druze brothers--I know you suffered a major blow. 

"These were astonishing people who displayed great courage."

And Now--Here Is A Real Kick in the Pants:

Radio Haifa reported that Arabs have been Dancing in the Streets of Furadis, just south of Haifa, in Celebration of the Deadly Fire ! While no other country in the middle east--to this very day--will give citizenship or any basic rights to "Palestinian Arabs", Israel has--these people vote, have access to education and medical care like every Israeli--and they dance in the streets when disaster strikes the country that feeds them.

Any wonder Israel does not believe we have a partner for peace?

Why Are You Thankful?

Today is the day to reflect, not on the negative things in this world, but on all the many things we have to be thankful for. I will tell you mine at the end of this post!

Searching for the origins of Thanksgiving reveals many, many stories. My apologies if I missed something that you feel is vital. Officially, Thanksgiving is always on the fourth Thursday in the month of November. The first Thanksgiving Dinner can be traced back to the 16th century. According to the story, about 102 pilgrims crossed the Atlantic in the year 1620 on a ship named Mayflower. They traveled for nearly two months with extreme difficulty. Due to the terrible storms is is likely that they were kept in the cargo space of the sailing vessel and not allowed on deck.

On December 11, 1620 the pilgrims reached Plymouth Rock. This was not their original destination, but the storms had blown them off course. About 46 pilgrims died that winter due to the extreme  weather. In the spring of 1621, Squanto, a native Indian taught the pilgrims to grow corn, beans and pumpkin for survival. A day of fasting and prayer was called due to the severe drought that summer. Gd answered their prayers, and sent the rain to  save their crops.

In the autumn of 1621, they held a grand celebration to thank God and invited the Indians who had helped them. This communal dinner is popularly known as “The First Thanksgiving Feast”. According to the first hand account written by the leader of the colony, the food included, ducks, geese, venison, fish, berries etc. Some historians claim that because the pilgrims were so religious that most likely it would have been a day of fasting and prayer but most people say that it really was a feast.

Because of the diminished supply of flour that year, they did not have any kind of bread. Pumpkin pie, a staple on every dinner table, is unlikely to have been a part of the first thanksgiving feast, but they did have boiled pumpkin. The feast took place outside due to lack of large enough facilities and continued for three days. There was not another feast until 1623, when there was another severe drought. In the year 1676 Governor Bradford proclaimed another day of thanksgiving. In October of 1777 all of the 13 colonies joined in a communal celebration which also marked the victory over the British.

Events and changes occurred over the years. On May 24th 1830, a little known author, Sarah Josepha Hale, penned the nursery rhyme "Mary Had a Little Lamb". A little known author, Sarah spent 40 years writing to congressmen, lobbying five presidents, and writing countless editorials in her campaign to create an official day of thanks. Finally,  on October 3rd, President Lincoln made his famous Thanksgiving Proclamation of 1863 officially making the last Thursday in November the official Day of Thanksgiving. So, there are many reasons for taking a day to be thankful,

I am thankful for many things each and every day of my life, but as I write this article there is one prominent thing that I feel particularly thankful for.

I thank Gd for the brave men and women  serving in Armed Forces all over the world, who even today are putting their lives on the line so we can enjoy things like a Thanksgiving Dinner. Gd Bless you and Bring you safely home to your loved ones.

Muslim Day on Madison Avenue

Why is there a need for a Muslim Day in New York City--the very place where 3,000 souls were murdered by Muslims? Has the world truly gone mad?? Has America lost its collective mind?

There is just so much wrong with this situation I don't know where to begin. This has been going on in Paris for some time now and has grown to the point that residents and shop owners cannot go near their premises while the "muslim community" conducts their prayers. The problem is, they are not residents of those areas. Rather, they bus people in from all over to have a show of force. Why do they do this? Easy--this is how they make their claim. Once they force locals out it becomes a No-Go area for all but muslims. They are having great success in Europe, now they are coming to America.

I have no problem with any religion or nationality immigrating to my country--what I object to is when they impose their prehistoric ideas and try to rob me of the freedoms and rights that our ancestors fought and died for. We must stop this ridiculous "politically correct" mindset because our entire way of life is at stake! 

Michael Vick--NFL Monster

Please go to Woman Honor Thyself and read her article on NFL "super star" Michael Vick. On April 26th 2007, police raided his house where they found evidence of dog fighting. The officers took 66 dogs (numbers differ) from the property,  and  mounds of earth where dogs had been buried. At the time, Michael Vick was  the starting quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons and one of the highest paid players in the NFL (10 years = $130 million). He didn't need the money, so one is forced to ask why he would engage in such cruelty.

He served 21 months in prison, followed by two months in home confinement for his  confessed involvement in dog fighting over a five year period. Redskins Clinton Portis was quoted as saying "I don't know if he was fighting dogs or not, but it was his property. It was his dogs. If that's what he wants to do, do it. What people do behind closed doors." Oh, yes Portis also said Vick was a "positive role model". Think about it--these guys are being paid millions of dollars to chase a ball around a field.

Many people will never get over Vick's own admissions of unthinkable cruelty to his own dogs--the strangling, the drowning, the electrocutions, the removal of all the teeth of females who would fight back during mating--and don't forget, dog fights go on for hours because it is "to the death".

These are only 2 of his victims. The one on the left is Gypsy, I could not find a name for the other.  Vick did say he was sorry--yeah--sorry that he got caught. The NFL took him back and all is forgiven--because, after all, they were only dogs and he is such a great quarterback. 

 For all of you who look up to Michael Vick as an amazing football player--Please read Angel's post and tell your kids the real truth about this sick  piece of garbage.

Israels "Neighbours"

The world loves to blame the Jews for everything that goes wrong in the world. We listen to the cries of  "if only the Jews would give the PA their own state there would be peace" on a daily basis. Really? As recently as 26 October 2010, while in Bethlehem, President Abbas was photographed with a stone model of the map of Palestine--that competely obliterates Israel! This is not a man who wants to make peace. What he says to the gullible English speaking world has no relevance at all to what he is saying in Arabic. Yet regardless how many pictures like  this,  or translations of his vile speeches are published, the world of the politically correct remains oblivious.

The clip below is of our neighbours in Gaza (Hamas) who are part of the "Palestine" that Israel is supposed to make peace with. The one thing I can say for Hamas is that they are at least honest and openly declare their desire to wipe Israel from the earth.

This film is circa 2008, but I can tell you that things have gotten substantially worse--all thanks to the useful idiots of the EU, the muslim-owned UN, and  even the good old US of A--who rush to give billions of dollars to  support a non-existent entity with no direction. There were no Palestinian People until Egyptian born terrorist Yasser Arafat came along and started spouting his lies. That he was given a Nobel Peace Prize while funding the murders of Jewish civilians is a travesty. A master of deceit he started the myth, and now, slowly, methodically history is being re-written to create an historic people--even though their own leaders have stated that: “The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, ‘Palestinians’, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct ‘Palestinian people’ to oppose Zionism.”

To this day the foundational charter of the Palestinian Liberation Organization--PLO, states that "the liberation of Palestine will destroy the Zionist and imperialist presence" and that "armed struggle is the only way to liberate Palestine and is therefore a strategy and not a tactic". Despite repeated Palestinian commitments from the late 1990s on to annul these sections of the covenant, it was never officially changed. It should be noted that All of Israel's neighbours carry similar statements in their Charters.

Watch and Think--if they get their way Israel will be destroyed Israel--and if Israel is no longer here, these people will move on to their next target--and eventually it will be your neighbourhood!.

A Travesty of Human Rights

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have both been appointed to the board of the new UN agency for the equality and empowerment of women world wide. This is so evil I am without words, however. Pat Condell knows just what to say. I don't agree with all of his opinions (he is an admitted aetheist), but he has a way with words and an ability to to "say it like it is". In this case I think he is spot-on. Enjoy--and Think About It!

Jewish Conversions~Is There a Problem?

This is will be the first of a series I am preparing on conversions. I am still working on the order to present it all as I am not only going to refer to the "laws" but I will be giving stories of those who have and are undergoing conversion. 

One of the most amazing things to me is the number of people who want to convert to Judaism! Turn on the news or browse the internet and you would think that the Jews were the plague of the world! So, why do so many want to join us?

Israel is full of those who are trying to "find themselves", and many think that the way to do it is with conversion. Sadly, for the vast majority this is a very big mistake! I watch people who come on vacations and feel "uplifted" believing this is a "calling". I suspect that this is a type of Jerusalem Syndrome--a typical reaction.

Like anything new, Judaism can appear attractive and even preferable to all else, but there is so much more than just "feeling". I have met numerous people who claim "Gd spoke to me"--and to them I say that maybe you need to speak to a professional.

Being Jewish is work. It's not like xtians who dunk themselves in a tank and voila--reborn! To become a Jew means to become part of the Jewish people and accepting the rules of Halacha upon yourself--forever. And, yes, a large portion of Jews do not observe these rules, but they were born Jewish and Gd will judge them separately. Harsh? Maybe, but the fact is there are untold numbers of people who undergo conversion, move to Israel and then carry on with their old lifestyle because they had no intention of giving up their idolatrous ways. There are no real "conversion police" these people still have a problem. You see, you can fool yourself, your neighbours and maybe even a beit din--but Gd will always know--and in the end your soul is not Jewish and you are nothing but a fraud.

A Halachic Orthodox conversion. Which means study, testing and a lifetime commitment to a different lifestyle--all the time, every day--whether you feel like it or not. This means  no cheese on your burger and no bacon at all and although there will be no thunder or bolts of lightening--you should not undergo conversion if you are not prepared to learn and accept this on yourself.

Lies and Hate From the Arab World

This letter is making the rounds in the email world. For those of you who have not read it I have decided to post it. I cannot swear to the authenticity, but, the content is right on the money. It is supposedly written to Helen Thomas by Brigitte Gabriel, author of Because They Hate. Please read and learn--and give some thought to what your children are being taught!

From One American Lebanese Journalist To Another~Dear Helen:

With a great deal of disappointment I watched your interview, replayed over and over on television, in which you said that Jews should go back home to Poland and Germany. I find it both appalling and unsettling that someone with your level of journalistic accomplishment would lack a basic knowledge of Middle Eastern history. (Ed: She first said the Jews should get the hell out of Palestine--She was speaking to 2 Jewish boys wearing Yarmulkes (skull caps) and a Rabbi!---Please Watch the original clip at the end of this post)

So please allow me to make the case as to why Israel has a historical, legal and moral right to exist as a Jewish state in the Middle East.

According to the Arab-Palestinian-Muslim narrative, Israel is an alien colony recently planted in the Arab world by American and European imperialism. This narrative recognizes no history prior to the arrival of the first Zionist pioneers in the 1880s, and emphatically denies any ancient historical connection of the Jewish people to the land of Israel. This is the central lie, offered to justify uncompromising opposition to Jewish national rights. It is almost as if they actually expect people to think the word Israel was invented in modern times. What is alarming is that their increasingly successful rewrite of history has taken hold in minds supposedly as informed as yours. (Ed: Many online articles are being re-written with lies claiming the  ancient culture of the Palestinians and non-existence of the Jews, while the Waqf is digging up and destroying ancient artifacts on the Temple Mount--there is a systematic attempt to cleanse the Jewish Presence in the Holy Land)

The historical truth is carved in Egyptian stone. According to a well-known hieroglyphic inscription, the tribes of Israel were a significant, established presence in Canaan no later than 1212 BCE. There is a vast body of archaeological evidence that demonstrates the ancient Israelite/Jewish presence in Israel/Judea as far back as 925 BCE. This historical presence is verified in the ancient records of the Egyptian, Assyrian, Babylonian, Persian, Greek, Roman, Byzantine and Moslem Empires. The Arab conquest did not occur until 638 CE (AD). An exercise in elementary arithmetic reveals that the Jewish people were there eighteen and one-half centuries before the arrival of the Muslim Arabs.

Despite being conquered many times, the Jewish people have had a constant, uninterrupted presence in the Land of Israel for over thirty centuries. The Arabs and Islam have been there less than fourteen centuries. It has conveniently been forgotten that the Jews and Christians were there first.

Furthermore, in the thirty centuries preceding the re-establishment of the State of Israel in 1948, there have been only two periods when there was an independent, internationally recognized state in the area that now comprises Israel. Both of them were Jewish states. Even when this land was part of the Arab empire (638 CE/AD through 1099 CE/AD), there was never an independent Arab state in Palestine, by that name or any other. (Ed: There was no Palestinian People, Language, Culture, Arts or Literature--Not One Single Book!)

No wonder Arabs are donating millions of dollars to US colleges for Middle Eastern schools of study. They have a lot of hard historical evidence to rewrite in the young minds of students, most of whom enter college with little or no knowledge of ancient Middle Eastern history.

The Jewish people have a distinct national identity. Religion is only one of the unique characteristics that defines this national identity. In addition, the Jewish people have a separate and distinct language, culture and customs, with a documented history of development over the past three thousand years. The Jewish people have created a vast body of art and literature, both secular and religious, which reflects the connection of the Jewish people to the land of Israel.

The Dead Sea Scrolls, written when the descendants of the Maccabees ruled an independent Judea, demonstrate that the Jewish people, both in the Holy Land and in exile all over the world, have been reading and writing secular and sectarian literature in the same distinct language for over two thousand years. (Ed: Recently Jordan claimed they were part of their ancient culture!)

In contrast, the Arabic language and culture and the Muslim religion of the Palestinians are essentially indistinguishable from the wider Arab world. Prior to the mid 1800s there is no trace whatsoever of uniquely Palestinian art, literature, music, or any other manifestation of a distinct culture. If you find this hard to believe, try to think of one Palestinian book, or author, or artist, from the year 1300 through the year 1800. That's a period of 500 years.

There must be one book written by a Palestinian Arab author. There must be one painting by a Palestinian Arab artist. Guess what? There are none.

If you still don't believe it, ask a Palestinian nationalist or a Columbia University professor of Middle Eastern history to name one. The most honest response you will get is silence. The most likely response you will get is a lie.

People can propagate lies but they cannot erase historical facts. What's Happening to Canada?

Lately I have been reading some very scary articles. They include stories of people not allowed to fly a Canadian flag in front of their home.

Meanwhile, some lunatics in Edmonton claim white Canadians “have likely harmed non-white people with our own whiteness.” So, now, just what are white people supposed to do? I shudder to even think of what these morons will promote next.


And I just couldn't leave out those loons "Queers against Israeli apartheid"--Huh? Do they even realize that in every muslim country they would be beaten, hung, or both  (or worse) for being gay? I bet these two teenage boys would question the sanity behind QAIA.

While they demonstrate to boycott Israel did they even bother to check facts? It is the only country in the Middle-East where gays live freely including being allowed to adopt--just ask all the muslims who sneak into Tel Aviv.

The latest group of idiots reared their heads to desecrate those who put themselves on the line for this country and freedom everywhere. The are challenging the traditional "Red Poppy". There are many stories of the "origin". It  began in  November 1918 with one woman's pledge to keep the faith. By 1921 a group of widows suggested they be sold as a means of raising money to aid those who were incapacitated as a result of the war and by 1923, the Red Poppy was recognized, along with the poem  In Flanders Fields, around the world.

Now they want to desecrate  November 11th, by pushing the "white poppy" for peace--to do away with all that war crap, because as they say "you don't have to go to war to get peace". I suppose, however, the enemy we are fighting is only interested in domination and I sure as hell will never wear a garbage bag over my head and live as an animal and call it peace!  Wake up Canada! Political Correctness is going to destroy everything that made you great!

We must Never Forget Their Sacrifice!

LIEUTENANT ANDREW NUTTALL, 30



Lt. Nuttall, of Victoria, BC, was an officer on his first tour to Afghanistan. His platoon was developing closer relationships with the local population, and he kept a blog for friends in Canada. While on patrol in Kandahar, he was killed in an IED blast.

SERGEANT GEORGE MIOK, 28

 

Sgt. Miok of Edmonton was a combat engineer
on his second Afghan deployment. He was also
a bartender and teacher in his native Edmonton.
He was killed, along with three other soldiers and
a journalist, by a roadside bomb on December 30, 2009.

SERGEANT KIRK TAYLOR, 28


Sgt. Taylor of Yarmouth, N.S., was an artillery soldier on his first deployment. He was also a team leader in his local search and rescue team. Sgt. Taylor died on December 30, 2009, when his armoured vehicle hit an IED.

CORPORAL ZACHERY McCORMACK, 21

 

Cpl. McCormack was an infantry soldier with
the Loyal Edmonton Regiment. He was on his
first deployment and had volunteered to go
to Afghanistan. Cpl. McCormack died on
December 30, 2009, when his armoured
vehicle hit an IED. He left behind a fiancee.

PRIVATE GARRETT WILLIAM CHIDLEY, 21

 

Pte. Chidley of Langley, BC was killed when the armoured vehicle he was driving hit an IED. As a teenager, he earned a pilot’s license, but chose to become an infantry soldier instead of a pilot.

MICHELLE LANG, 34

 

Ms. Lang was on a six-week assignment
when she was killed alongside four
Canadian soldiers on December 30, 2009.
The Calgary Herald reporter won a National
Newspaper Award in 2008 for best beat reporting.
It was her first time covering combat.

SERGEANT JOHN WAYNE FAUGHT, 44

Sgt. Faught of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, was described as a career soldier and a father figure. A soldier with 23 years of experience, he was on his sixth overseas deployment, three of which were in Afghanistan. Sgt. Fought was killed by a landmine on January 16.

CORPORAL JOSHUA CALEB BAKER, 24

Cpl. Baker was an infantry soldier with the
Loyal Edmonton Regiment. He had re-enlisted
after briefly leaving the army. He hoped to become
a police officer when he returned. Cpl. Baker died
in an accident during a training exercise
northeast of Kandahar on February 12.

CORPORAL DARREN JAMES FITZPATRICK, 21

 

Cpl. Fitzpatrick of Prince George, BC, died from wounds that he sustained two weeks prior. It was his first tour. He was surrounded by family at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton, when he died on March 20.

PRIVATE TYLER WILLIAM TODD, 26

 

Pte. Todd of Bright, Ontario,
was on his first tour when he died.
Fellow soldiers described him as a practical joker,
but also as someone they could depend on.
He was killed in an IED blast on April 11.

PETTY OFFICER 2nd CLASS DOUGLAS CRAIG BLAKE, 37

 

Petty Officer Blake of Simcoe, Ontario, was a naval clearance diver. The married father of two had been in Afghanistan for a few weeks, defusing explosives when he was killed in an IED explosion on May 3.

PRIVATE KEVIN THOMAS McKAY, 24

 

Pte. McKay was killed two days before
his first deployment finished. Growing up,
he knew he wanted to be a soldier and spent much
of his time camping and fishing. Pte. McKay was
killed in an IED blast on May 13.

COLONEL GEOFF PARKER, 42

 

Col. Parker was the highest ranking soldier killed in Afghanistan. He was a married father of two and the former commanding officer of 2nd Battalion The Royal Canadian Regiment. He was killed by a suicide bomber in Kabul on May 18.

TROOPER LARRY RUDD, 26

 

Trooper Rudd of Brantford, Ontario,
was an armoured crewman and described
as “a gentle giant.” On May 24, he was
killed during a combat resupply mission,
when his armoured vehicle hit a
makeshift landmine southwest of Kandahar City.

SERGEANT MARTIN GOUDREAULT, 35

Sgt. Goudreault of Sudbury, Ontario was a combat engineer on his fifth deployment. He was a 15-year veteran in the military and known as “Marty” to friends. He was killed in an IED blast during a foot patrol on June 6.

SERGEANT JAMES PATRICK MacNEIL, 29

 

Sgt. MacNeil of Glace Bay, NS, was killed in
an IED blast on June 21 while on patrol in
the Panjwaii District. It was his fourth tour
in Afghanistan. He had a fiancée and
was described as “the life of the party.”

MASTER CORPORAL KRISTAL GIESEBRECHT, 34


Master Cpl. Giesebrecht of Wallaceburg, Ontario, was a medic and on her second deployment to Afghanistan when she died on June 26. She was accompanying troops who were going to defuse a mine when her vehicle detonated an IED. She left a husband behind.

PRIVATE ANDREW MILLER, 21

Pte. Miller of Sudbury, Ontario, was
traveling with Master Cpl. Giesebrecht
when he died. From a young age,
he would create his own first aid kits
and decorate his room with camouflage patterns.
Colleagues described him as a “superior medic.”

SAPPER BRIAN COLLIER, 24

 

Sapper Collier of Bradford, Ontario, was on his first tour when he was killed by an IED on June 24. Earlier in his tour, he distinguished himself by clearing an area for medics at the scene of a roadside bombing, despite being injured himself.

CORPORAL BRIAN PINKSEN, 21

 

Cpl. Pinksen of Corner Brook, Newfoundland,
died at a military hospital in Germany,
after being wounded in an IED blast
eight days prior. According to friends and
family, he craved adventure and joined
the reserves in high school.
He was on his first tour.

Take the time to look  closely at each face--these are real people with mums and dads, sisters, brothers, spouses and children. Read about who they were and the horrible way they were taken from this world--Then remind yourself that each one of them died so those who now desecrate their memories would have the freedom to do so. 

I am all for freedom of speech, but not when it is used to destroy those very freedoms. I am sick to death of seeing throw-backs from the dark ages streaming into free, democratic nations, sucking the life out of the medical and social welfare systems while calling for an end to freedom and justice.  I say to them all--if you don't like our freedom, justice or democracy--then go back to where you came from. Feel free to fatwa this.
